Standing tall

For the last few weeks Ava has been pulling herself up on anything she can get her hands on and then letting go for a few seconds. On Monday she was playing on the floor, when Mark yelled, "Jenny" I ran over and he said you missed it Ava just stood up all by herself. Of course, I was bummed that I had missed her standing, but then yesterday while she was playing she did it again. I ran to get the camera and was able to catch it on video...check her out!

Ava & Mia

Ava and her cousin Mia were able to hang out together last week at their abuela's house. Unfortunately, Ava only seemed interested in pulling Mia's blanket off her while she was sleeping. Good thing Mia didn't seem to mind her sleep being interrupted.

Cabo

Ava had a lot of fun during her 1st trip to Cabo. She enjoyed swimming in the pool, waving hi to all the other guests, and eating dinners out with mom & dad. She was definitely the star of the resort!

Weekend at Abuelos

Ava had fun playing with her abuela during her last visit. Nothing brings more excitement than a pot to bang on or being pushed around in a cardboard box.

Ava's 1st Easter

We had a very eventful Easter Weekend. On Friday we welcomed our newest member to the family. Ava's cousin Mia was born at 6:40 on Friday evening. Baby Mia, mommy Jenny & dad Joey are doing great. Our weekend was spent visiting the new beautiful baby.

Play date

On Mondays Ava and I meet for a weekly group play date. Over the course of time Ava seems to have developed an special liking for one baby named Clark. These two will crawl over other babies to meet up and play.

9 months old

Ava turned 9 months old yesterday, and how a month has changed her. She is a crawling machine, loves to pull herself up to the standing position, and has 2 teeth!
