Merry Christmas

Ava spent her Christmas Holiday at her Abuelo's house in Lodi. She opened a lot of fun gifts, had a yummy Christmas dinner, and played with her cousin Mia. Our family really enjoyed watching the two little cousins entertain each other. They are just too cute!

December Holiday Fun!

The Christmas Season has been so much fun this year. Ava is now very familiar with the seasonal decorations and has included Christmas words into her vocabulary. She now yells out: Star, Lights, Snow, and says Oh Oh Oh (instead of Ho Ho Ho) when she sees Santa. Last week we joined some of Ava's friends at the park to decorate cookies. She discovered the yummy sugary delight of frosting and proceeded to get it all over her face. Mark and I also took her to Christmas Tree Lane in Palo Alto to see the lights. Ava loved all the decorations especially the tiny Christmas trees that were just her size.

Thanksgiving

Ava celebrated the Thanksgiving Holiday with her Abuelos, Uncle Joey, Auntie Jenny and Cutie Pie Cousin Mia. We had a yummy turkey dinner except Ava only liked the mashed potatoes and bread...maybe next year she will like the turkey. After dinner Ava and Mia were able to enjoy some play time.

A Pig says "Pig"?

Ava has mastered most of the standard animal noises. Except for pig, If you ask her what does a pig say she says "pig". Check out the cute video of her being quized on her animal noises.

Trick-Or-Treat

Here is our cute little Kitty Cat trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. We have been working all month to get her to meow and she finally started making a cat's meow last week. Although, she leaves off the M so it a sounds like a high pitched EOW.

Pumpkins Pumpkins Pumpkins!! and a Goat

Over the past week Ava has seen, touched, and possibly licked too many pumpkins to count. Last week her Abuela and I took her to Phillips Farms. For those of you non-Lodians, Phillips Farm is the place to go to pick out your Halloween pumpkin. On Sunday Mark and I took Ava to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay. We had a great time and Ava got to pet a goat!

Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo

Mark and I took Ava to the Junior Museum and Zoo in Palo Alto. This is an awesome place kids her age. The Museum is filled with great interactive exhibits and the zoo was just the right size for her to run around and see all her favorite little animals.
